Position Overview:
AristaCare is seeking a motivated and compassionate Student Social Worker to join our interdisciplinary care team in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting. This position is ideal for a social work student seeking supervised fieldwork or internship experience in long-term care, sub-acute, and rehabilitation services. The Student Social Worker will work under the supervision of the Social Services Director and/or Licensed Social Worker, gaining practical experience while supporting residents and families through psychosocial services and care planning.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with psychosocial assessments, care planning, and discharge coordination
- Provide emotional support and advocacy for residents and families
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings
- Complete documentation per facility and regulatory requirements
- Observe interventions related to mental health, coping, and social adjustment
Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in an accredited BSW or MSW program
- Eligible for field placement or internship in healthcare/long-term care
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Interest in geriatrics, long-term care, or healthcare social work
- Basic computer skills; EMR experience a plus
